Ongoing Tabata Challenge!

If you haven’t already seen it, I’ve been hosting a Tabata-A-Day Challenge over  on my Facebook and Instagram page.  It is about half way through with great success!  This is a great challenge to help motivate you to try some new exercises and ramp up that intensity!  The challenge runs through January 31st.  Feel free to jump in any time here and there, or you can play catch up by doing a few of the Tabata’s each day. (The challenge is just for fun, but if you want to be eligible for a prize, the rules can be found here.)

A Tabata is a fancy name for Super Intense 4 minute Interval Training! Or more specifically: A tabata interval is 4 minutes long: 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest, repeated 8 times.  One challenge participant, Sarah, not only has been rocking the challenge, but she posted an awesome Tabata article on her blog “Simplify The Get Going”.  You can find her post with a tabata description (and history!) here.

New videos are posted everyday to my Instagram and Facebook page. Here is today’s video to give you an idea of what you are in for!
